How to play Maze Adventure

Take a moment with Maze Adventure before moving to another game. Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Use the opening round to become familiar with the layout. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.

Review a difficult moment

When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round. Make the next step deliberately.

Your goal

Move into the exit at the bottom right. The game counts the steps you take. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Review the board or playing area as it changes.

Step by step

  1. Start from the upper-left cell.
  2. Move through openings using arrow keys or direction buttons.
  3. You may also tap a neighbouring cell connected by an open passage.
  4. Reach the gold exit or generate a new maze.

Controls

Arrow keys, on-screen direction buttons, or a click/tap on an adjacent reachable cell. On a smaller screen, keep the active part of the board within view. Make sure you are interacting with the game rather than the surrounding page.

A useful example

If a wall blocks the cell to your right, try another opening; the token cannot move through walls. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Read the matching step again.

Watch out for this

Only immediately adjacent cells can be reached in one move. Check the rule before repeating the action. Read one step at a time and try it on the playing area. Match the instruction to the control you use.
